About Us

Sally has a gift for helping those who are nervous about dental treatment. She is an excellent communicator, carefully listening and tailoring advice, with young and old alike.

With two decades of experience providing mercury free treatment and more recently digital tooth scanning, Sally provides safe, contemporary dentistry. This means beautiful tooth restorations and highly accurate and comfortable mouth scanning instead of ‘tooth moulds’.

As the co-founder of the Green Room she is the driving force behind the business side of the practice ensuring efficiency and continued success.

Any spare time she gets she can be found playing tennis, running and more recently satisfying her mild obsession with golf.

In 2022, Sally completed the Amsterdam marathon, fulfilling a lifelong goal.

Clare is one smart cookie. After gaining a first class honours degree in Biomedical sciences she yearned for a more patient facing career. Having had really positive dental experiences (with us!) she decided to explore dentistry as her chosen vocation. Not surprisingly she qualified top of her year with honours from Kings College.

She is keen on travel, particularly Australia where she has spent considerable time with family.

Garrath qualified with a distinction in restorative dentistry from the University of Liverpool in 2006 then actively pursued his passion for restorative dentistry with post graduate education in the UK and USA. His studies have gained him a master’s degree in advanced restorative dentistry and a postgraduate diploma in endodontics.

Always striving for perfection, Garrath utilises dental photography, his beloved microscope and digital dentistry to achieve high quality results.

Relocating to Cornwall in 2015, Garrath fell in love with the sea and rugged Cornish coastline. When time and conditions permit, he is either surfing, sailing, exploring the Cornish trails or participating in ultra-marathons.

Tim qualified from Plymouth Peninsula Dental School in 2020 with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery then started his practicing career in Swansea.

Drawn to the waves and the Cornish coastline, Tim relocated in 2023 and can often be found surfing, scuba diving and rock climbing.  He is also a keen linguist.

Alongside general dental care, Tim has a passion for cosmetic dentistry and is currently studying towards a Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in London.

Tim has a prevention-based approach to dentistry and his keen eye for detail means he achieves high quality clinical results.

Kim joined our practice in the Summer of 2017 after relocating to Cornwall with her young family of surfers. She brings with her invaluable experience having worked in a specialist periodontal practice in London.

Patients often comment on her ability to clearly communicate oral hygiene education. She is also known for being thorough yet gentle in her treatment of patients and not a day goes past without positive feedback or a glowing recommendation.

To our delight Kim is a wonderful cook. She brings in her ‘treats’ on occasion and they don’t last long! Aside from dentistry and baking, she enjoys running and playing netball.

Annelise has a lovely welcoming manner with patients, making them immediately feel at ease. Since joining the team in 2020, she has quickly become part of the family.

With a passion for walking she is making her way around the South West Coastal Path and enjoying all that the Cornwall has to offer.

Ella joined team Green Room as a Hygiene Therapist after relocating from Nottingham with her husband, Cian and cat, Petal.

With her kind, caring nature, she is a natural at making you feel at ease.

Having settled into Cornish life very well, she spends her weekends exploring our beautiful coastal walks.

When Holly started at the practice as a trainee dental nurse, her incredible organisational skills soon became apparent. Although the youngest member of the practice at the time, we could see her potential and so encouraged her to train in practice management. Working with Sally she quickly took over the routine day to day running of the practice.

Holly has since moved on to become Treatment Coordinator assisting new patients with their enquiries, liaising with clinicians, technicians and patients to provide a smooth patient journey.

Living on a farm, Holly’s free time is spent with her husband and many animals. She enjoys baking, keeping fit at the gym and walking with her three Collies.

Megan is a wonderfully versatile member of the team with a maturity beyond her years. She’s equally adept at dental nursing and reception and is uncannily unflappable. This has naturally led her to start training towards becoming a Treatment Coordinator. Her calm nature and high level of understanding means she is an excellent educator for the reception team.

To relax Megan enjoys yoga, spending time with her close nit family and socialising with her many friends.

Lainey joined the team in June 2020 as our clinic manager to oversee the day to day running of the dental practice, after managing a large group of dental practices in Cambridge for several years. She brings with her a vast knowledge of practice management and has quickly became a real asset to the team.

A regular visitor to Cornwall, Lainey fell in love with the place and decided to relocate with her husband Dave and two dogs. She recalls often walking past the Green Room and daydreaming ‘I would love to work there’ and the rest is history.

Lainey is a keen reader, spends weekends exploring the coastline, cherishes time with her family and walking with her ‘fur babies’.

Janine is one of the longest serving members of team Green Room. She originally joined us as a dental nurse in 2003 and after a very short break away, she missed us too much and returned the same year! She works mainly with Richard to assist in dental implant treatments.

Janine has a wonderful sense of humour and an uncanny ability to remember something about every patient she meets. Her professionalism and passion for dentistry meant she became one of the first dental nurses in the UK to achieve the Certificate in Dental Implant Nursing.

In her spare time Janine can be found milking on her farm or out running with Wadebridge Running Club.

Pam is a true team player. Working tirelessly all day, and helping others when the pressure is on, is all in a days work. She also oversees our trainee dental nurses showing them the Green Room way. Pam has a fantastic ability to relay her skills, high standards and work ethic to others.

In her free time Pam adores spending time with her energetic young family, watching films and keeping fit.

Cassandra can be found front of house where she thrives on social interaction and carrying out reception duties with efficiency panache. She is a real ‘supermom’ running a clothing business, raising a family, and keeping super fit.

Cassandra has run half marathons, competed in triathlons and, most recently completed a HYROX fitness race.

Ellie was the best trainee dental nurse you could ask for. In fact so good we wanted to clone her! It’s not just us saying that, as this was confirmed by her course assessor who could not find fault with her work. She’s also a great receptionist and can move seamlessly between the two roles.

Ellie is a self-confessed foodie and an oracle of the best eateries in Cornwall.

Jamie joined us a dental nurse in 2023 and is a versatile team player at Green Room Dentistry.

You might see Jamie in one of her many roles here at the practice, assisting with one of our dentists or hygienists, greeting you at front of house, or even as one of our treatment coordinators.

Hailing from Cornwall she really appreciates its beauty and loves to keep fit.

With her relaxed demeanour and wicked sense of humour, Jamie is great at distracting our patients, helping them to forget about any nerves and making them feel at ease.

Cerys started with us as a trainee and has since qualified as a dental nurse. With a great work ethic and methodical approach, we all knew she would succeed!

In addition to her excellent organisation skills, Cerys is always on the ball, making her an invaluable part of the team.

Away from dentistry she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, going on holidays and having cuddles with her mischievous cat, Bandit.

After relocating to Cornwall in 2023, Hannah joined team Green Room as a dental nurse. You might find Hannah assisting our dentists and hygienists in a treatment room or greeting you front of house with a warm, welcoming smile.

Having a lovely kind nature, she makes a wonderful nurse for our nervous patients.

Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls, all things holistic and offering sound healing sessions for others to enjoy.

Alice is our trainee dental nurse and has been with us from the beginning of her dental nursing journey. She is a quick learner and very thorough with every aspect of her role. You will see Alice working alongside one of our hygienists or dentists.

Alice loves music, going to concerts often, and spending time with her family. She is patient, kind, and has a big heart – you will never see her without a smile.

Isabel has slotted straight into the nursing team with her enthusiasm and energy. She is working towards her dental nursing qualification and ultimately wants to become a Dental Therapist.

She enjoys running, fitness and travelling to adventurous places.

As our front of house receptionist, Viv will often be one of the first friendly faces you see when visiting Green Room Dentistry. With years of experience in customer facing roles, she enjoys the challenge of working in health care and thrives in our team.

In her spare time, Viv keeps active by running, training in the gym, and cooling off in her cold-water ice pod!

With her caring nature and ability to listen, Viv is a valuable member of team Green Room.
